The Man Who Saved Central City And Who Killed Osama Bin Laden.

In the last unit for HUMANITIES in the class called Stories, we are learning about world heroes. We had to see what different kinds of heroes there are and how they act. For this Action Project we had to work with a partner and find and fictional hero and nonfictional hero. My Partner was VD who selected a fictional hero. I was challenged to select a nonfictional hero and that selection was the most difficult part of this project. I overcame that by choosing the man who killed Osama Bin Laden because I decided he was an important hero. I had most fun was finding everything I needed for my project.

The two heroes we chose were Robert J. O’Neill, the Navy Seal who shot Osama Bin Laden, and Oliver Queen, the lead character in the TV program “Arrow.” We chose Robert O’Neill because he was brave and self-sacrificing when he went on his almost impossible mission. He is a hero to many people because he killed a person who was a great threat. He wanted to serve his country and make the world a better place. We chose Oliver Queen because he is down to earth. He is a good man. He wants to save people and protect his city. He wants to do right by his father. Both of them are good at what they do. They both train hard to become the best.

It may not seem like Robert J. O’Neill and Oliver Queen are very alike, but they have many things in common.   For one, they are fighting and killing for a very good cause. They are protecting a place they call home. Robert J. O’Neill was protecting the United States on his journey, and Oliver Queen was protecting Starling City. In addition, both men are constantly risking their lives on their journeys, in an effort to save the lives of innocent civilians. They are both humble about their work, and they don’t like to show off. They are both very selfless men who make the world a safer place.
