"Saving Private Ryan

For our elective term, I was in a class called Ollywood. Since it was only for 5 weeks we had 1 unit. I learned many things in this class. One of the things I learned is that you don't need expensive equipment to make a movie; for example, there is a short film called Framed that was shot just from an iphone 4s. We also learned what a Production designer, Executive producer, and many more movie roles are and what each does. What we had to do for this AP is choose a movie to watch, watch it, then make a video explaining why we liked it or hated it. We had to analyze the lighting and what edits were good or bad about it. I had two partners for this, MN and GS; you should check out their blogs. What I like about this project was watching my favorite movie, Saving Private Ryan, and looking and finding how and what edits were good. What was hard for me was recording because I don't like my voice when I hear a recording of it.

The Dollar Bill

This is my 3rd Action Project for my elective course, Biomincry. In this course we will be studying products that we use and what’s happens to them when it gets destroyed. In order to complete this project, I had to choose a product that I use and write a PowerPoint about. For this Action Project the class I choose to write about the one-dollar bill. I also learned that a one dollar bill last up to 18 months. We had to make a power point that showed the process of making them, and destroying of it. The thing that I am most proud of was making the PowerPoint and finding the research. Something that was hard for me was looking to see what happens to it after it gets destroyed. Please learn more about the chess project down below.
